My Story: A Life of Struggles and Hope
My name is Adebisi, and my life has been a journey filled with challenges, heartbreaks, and moments of hope. From a very young age, I learned that life was not easy. As the firstborn of five children, I grew up knowing the weight of responsibility. Life demanded so much from me, and I had to grow up faster than most kids my age.
I left home at a very young age, searching for ways to survive and support myself and my family. It wasn’t easy, but I always seemed to find helpers wherever I went. There were kind people who offered me a hand, and I will always be grateful for them. But life has a way of testing you, and sometimes, circumstances would change, and things would fall apart. Even so, I kept moving forward.
I’ve always been a calm and loyal person. I respect everyone, no matter who they are, and I try my best to treat people the way I want to be treated. I love having people around me and trust them easily, even when that trust has sometimes been broken. I am also very patient, but I won’t lie—I do have an anger issue. It’s something I’ve been working on over the years because I know it doesn’t define who I am.
As a child, I found joy in simple things like football, reading, and running. Football was my greatest escape. On the field, I felt free, as though nothing else mattered. Reading books opened my mind to a world of possibilities, and running helped me release my stress and gather my thoughts.
In school, I worked hard and was one of the best students in my class. My teachers and classmates admired my dedication, and I had big dreams of continuing my education and achieving great things. But after secondary school, I couldn’t go further due to circumstances beyond my control. It was a painful moment for me, but I refused to let it define my future.
In 2012, my life took a devastating turn when I lost my father. He was my role model, my guide, and my greatest supporter. Losing him left a void in my heart that has never been filled. After his death, I had no choice but to take on more responsibilities for my family. It wasn’t easy, but I knew I had to stay strong for my siblings.
Over the years, I’ve faced many challenges, including broken promises and failed relationships. People I trusted turned their backs on me, leaving me hurt and disappointed. Many lied about me and even twisted my words against me. These betrayals taught me to be careful about who I trust, but they also made me stronger.
Despite everything, I refused to give up. I discovered that I am a quick learner and not afraid to make mistakes because I know that’s how you grow. One of the biggest turning points in my life was meeting my mentor, Resilience. They introduced me to website development, and it changed everything. I worked hard to learn and master the skill, and today, I am proud to call myself a website developer.
I am not just a website developer. I am also a skilled house painter and house cleaner, using my hands to transform spaces and bring order to people’s homes. And of course, football is still a big part of my life. Whenever I’m on the field, I feel the same joy and freedom I did as a child.
Looking back, I can see how far I’ve come. Leaving home at a young age, losing my dad, facing broken promises, enduring betrayals, and struggling to make ends meet could have broken me. But instead, they made me stronger and more determined to succeed.
I believe in myself and my future. I know that no matter how tough things get, I will surely make it in life. I am building a better life for myself and my family, and I know the best is yet to come.
To anyone reading this, my story is proof that no matter how hard life gets, you can rise above it. Believe in yourself, keep pushing forward, and never give up.
As for me, I will continue to work hard, learn, and grow. I will chase my dreams and prove that I am stronger than my struggles. This is my journey, and I am proud of how far I’ve come—and even more excited for what lies ahead.
RESILIENCE

When I lost my dad in 2012, my world fell apart. As the eldest child, I had to take on responsibilities far beyond my age. Despite the pain and struggles, I pushed through. Life kept testing me with disappointments and betrayals, but I refused to give up. Resilience became my strength, helping me rise every time I fell.
PAINTING & CLEANING

House painting and cleaning became more than just jobs for me—they became a way to transform spaces. Seeing the joy on someone’s face after a job well done made it all worth it. These skills taught me the value of hard work and attention to detail, giving me pride in what I do.
FOOTBALL

Football has always been my escape. Whenever I step onto the field, I feel free. It’s not just a game; it’s a reminder that no matter how tough life gets, I can find joy and purpose. The sound of the ball hitting the net is my victory, my freedom.
DEVELOPEMENT

I discovered website development through my mentor, Resilience. At first, it was hard to understand, but I kept learning. Every mistake I made became a lesson. With dedication, I turned my passion into a skill, creating websites that inspire and connect people. Development gave me hope for a better future.
